One of the better rated barbers in the Caboolture area, and it is regulars doing the rating.
Open six days
Tuesday through Sunday. Closed Mondays, so the chair is fresh on Tuesday.
What we do
Everything off the board,
nothing fancy about it.
The full list is painted on the wall inside. Cuts sit between $15 and $30 depending on what you are having, with student and pension card rates on most of it.
Adult Style Cut
The everyday cut. Clippers and scissors, finished tight around the ears and neck.
Razor Fades
Skin fade taken down with a razor for the cleanest possible blend at the bottom.
Beard Line & Trim
Shape, line up and tidy. Quick to do and it is what most blokes come back for.
Head Shave
Taken right down and finished smooth, done properly and unhurried.
Hot Towel Shave
The traditional wet shave, hot towel first, the way barbers have always done it.
Child Style Cut
For the younger ones. No fuss, no drama, in and out without a fight.
Student Style Cut
Same cut, student rate. Bring your student card along.
Senior Citizen Cut
Pension card rate. Plenty of our regulars have been coming for years.
Hair & Beard for Seniors
Cut and beard tidied in the one sitting, at the pension card rate.
Not sure which one you want? Come in and ask, it is a two minute conversation.

"Super happy with my fade, clean, sharp, and exactly how I wanted it. Prices are very reasonable too, which makes it even better."

Most of what comes through the door is a fade, a tidy up or a beard line. It is quick work when you have done it for as long as this.

The shop
Bula means welcome.
That is the whole idea.
Bula Barber & Beauty sits in the strip on Michael Avenue, red walls, yellow chairs, barber pole stripes down the glass. You will spot it easily enough.
Customers who have got to know the barber say he has close to three decades in the trade, starting out in Fiji, running his own shop in New Zealand, and now cutting here in the Brisbane area. That is their account rather than ours, but it lines up with the work.
What it means for you is straightforward. You sit down, you get a proper cut, and you are not in there all afternoon.

Every visit is a great experience from start to finish, and the quality of work always speaks for itself. Time and effort are put into making sure every customer leaves satisfied and comfortable.
Really friendly barber who knows what he's doing. Super happy with my fade, clean, sharp, and exactly how I wanted it. Prices are very reasonable too, which makes it even better. Easy place to pop in and walk out feeling fresh.
A most professional barber with great service and very little waiting time if ever. Having had the odd haircut and beard trim over 81 years I consider the Bula barber one of the best, if not the best, in managing these. Keep up the good work.
After discovering this barber shop from a recommendation from a mate of mine, I've been returning every 2 weeks, hair and beard trim is always on point, very fast turn around and very reasonably priced.
